Wearable, Wonderful Natural Fabrics
Safe for you and the environment, clothing made from these natural fibers are comfortable for your body and comforting to your conscience.
Organic Cotton – Since there are almost no chemicals used in the growth and production of organic cotton, clothing made of this fiber is a good option for people with sensitive, easily irritated skin or allergies. Not only does it not need pesticides to grow, as a rotation crop it uses minimal water and is usually rain-fed, rather than irrigated.
Bamboo – Clothes made of this fiber wick away moisture and have double the absorbency of cotton. Bamboo also has anti-bacterial properties that inhibit body odor. A bamboo grove releases 35% more oxygen than the same size stand of trees and its root system inhibits erosion, keeping water in the watershed and often eliminating the need for irrigation and sprinkler systems.
Hemp – Fabrics made of hemp absorb moisture quickly, keeping skin dry. And because it is porous, this fabric keeps you cool in the summer and warm in winter. Hemp needs almost no water to grow and can usually be rain-fed. Its harvesting leaves the soil in better condition than before it was planted.
