I love this product! I have tried about everything available, and nothing had worked. Most acne washes, including Proactiv, made my acne worse. I've used Burt's for about 3 weeks now, and my face is completely clear. I saw a difference after 2 days! This is by far the best product I have ever used. It also smells quite good, and it doesn't dry out my face like a lot of the harsher washes do.

always happy with burts bees August 23, 2010
i am fairly new to the burts bees experience. i like to try different products and not once have i been dissapointed in a burts bees product. this particular one cleanses my face, dries out the bad stuff but still leaves my skin soft and smooth.

Beware of washes! August 19, 2010
This is a great facial cleanser! However, that's all it is. I'm a pharmacy student, and we learned that washes with salicylic acid are actually not effective because the salicylic acid washes off and doesn't stay on long enough to absorb into the skin. Spend your money on a gentle non-acne cleanser, and save it for the Burt's Bee's salicylic acid spot treatment! Also, if you're using benzoyl peroxide products (Proactiv, etc), you're going to break out more at first if you switch to Burt's because benzoyl peroxide is more effective than salicylic acid. Keep at it, don't give up!
