Don't Rush to Conclusions!

I have difficult skin: Although it is oily, I still end up with mildly flakey skin around my T-zone. I know from having three kids and a clumsy husband that when trying to remove an oily stain from their clothing, I need to remember that oil removes oil. So, when I saw this product I decided to try it. Like everyone else has said, it smells amazingly good. The oils did remain on my skin after I washed and rinsed which made me feel a bit nervous at first. However, I gave myself time to get used to this new post-wash feeling and I don't regret it!! My skin has a smoother appearance, is slightly less oily looking than before, the dry spots are gone AND it is much softer.
My advice? No matter how you would describe your skin, try this product and give yourself time to get used to the new way it feels!!

My HG Cleanser

I actually want to stock up on this cleanser. I use a wet face brush to massage into my skin and as a result it foams up for easy rinsing. It also provides enough moisture for my combo/sensitive skin without it feeling greasy.

Love this product. At first when I used it I noticed that it really doesn't lather up at all. However, it smells great and leaves the skin clean. But I was most amazed the next morning, when my skin was super soft and moisturized -I hadn't moisturized, just used this cleanser! I love this stuff!

Too oily

This product did not work for me. It left a oily film on my skin, and my face did not feel clean or refreshed. I prefer the Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream. I would not recommend it to people with normal or oily skin.

Wet your face and apply the cleanser with your fingertips or a wet washcloth, massaging gently to loosen and remove dirt and make-up. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. Complete your daily regimen with your favorite Burt's Bees toner and face moisturizer.
