I use this just about every day. I really like how I can adjust how much exfoliate I am using simply by how much water I add with it, which is great because I can adjust it for the different parts of my face depending on what I need. The smell is wonderful, making this one of my favorite products.

not my favorite August 30, 2011
I bought this based on a beauty guru recommendation. The texture of this was odd, thick and gritty, smelled odd like citirus but not really pleasent. The texture was too harsh and gritty for my face and required alot of effort to rinse away completely without feeling like there was a film left on my face. To get through the jar i used it on my body to exfoliate which was fine but not the best ive used.

I really liked the scent of this product but I didn't see that it really exfoliated my skin well and it's a bit of a pain to scrape out of the jar.

A bit messy at times, but wonderful overall. July 02, 2011
The texture of the exfoliant that some people are describing as too rough is about like wet sand, which honestly works wonderfully as long as you don't scrub too hard. The "waxy film" left on your face that a couple people mentioned is actually a very light moisturized feeling. Similar to the way your face may feel after putting on oil-free face lotion. It's quite pleasant. My only issue is the mixing with water that you have to do. It's hard to scoop the exfoliant out of the jar without getting it under your fingernails-- perhaps burt's bees should include a small scoop. After working a little bit with it, I found the best way to mix it was in the open lid, and applying the mixed paste with your fingertips. Make sure to clean out and dry the lid before putting it back on the jar, of course. I love the way this makes my face feel. Clean and soft!
