Wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin July 10, 2012

I was excited to see that Burt's Bees had finally come up with a makeup remover, but was a bit disappointed with the results. I find that it removes makeup perfectly fine, but it does leave behind a residue that was to be washed off (I've found that water works just fine). However, after using the wipes, my entire face is always red and slightly irritated. It's not painful, but definitely a noticeable, slight stinging that's not at all pleasant. I'll probably pass on purchasing any more of these.

Never leave home without it! June 04, 2012

I absolutely LOVE this product! Although I wouldn't recommend using it for make-up removal, it's perfect for after working out, showering or even simply cleaning the face if you plan to run out the door without any make-up as it gives the skin a nice glow. :)

Overpowering scent and stings around eye area June 02, 2012

I don't have sensitive skin however I found the towelettes seem to sting around the eye area. The stinging sensation does fade after about 30 seconds. It does a so-so job at removing makeup overall. Have found that leaves a residue of some kind that needs water to remove it so I tried wetting the towel with water afterwards to wipe my face a 2nd time. What I cannot handle is the scent of the towelettes. May try another one in a week but after using 3 towels I think it needs to go into the garbage. What a waste.

Warning to Those with Sensitive Skin May 26, 2012

As a redhead, I have naturally sensitive skin. I have been a makeup remover wipe fan for a while now, and have recently turned my attentions to Burt's Bees. Once I found out that they had face wipes, I was excited to try them. I read the reviews and decided to give it a go. The wipes cost a little more than the ones I usually buy, and it was true that they had a strong smell (I can't decide whether I like the smell or not, but it is definitely strong) and once I used them, I loved how soft the wipes were and how well they worked. However, when I removed my eye make up it started to sting quite a bit. It didn't last long, but it was unpleasant enough to make me pause for a bit before continuing. I'm not sure whether or not I'll buy this product again, since the brand I usually buy is cheaper and doesn't sting my eyes.
