Everyone calm down! May 06, 2012

I used the other shampoo/conditioner for a few months before this new formula came out. I LOVED it, it was great. I was upset at first about the switch, but I kept my faith in Burt's, and gave it a shot. No negative reviews, I told myself, until my hair got used to the change. While I don't think this has the same effect that the last kind had, it's a pretty good shampoo/conditioner set. The shampoo is softer, and it lathers. It doesn't leave a filmy residue that the last kind did (the conditioner used to get rid of that, in their defense.) It has a very sugary smell, for those who are used to the old stuff. I like it, but I don't think the smell lingers as well as it used to. That's the only real downside for me. (OH!, and the bottles are smaller for the same price. But since it lathers with very little, I use less than I used to!) My hair is just as soft as it was with the last set, though it had a period where it was adjusting and got really frizzy. Once my hair got used to this stuff, it was great. I never really used this for volume, I just wanted my curls to be bouncier, and it makes them just as light as they were last time around. What I'm saying is, don't jump to conclusions before really giving this shampoo a shot. I'm not in love with this kind just yet, but I'm willing to make the jump and give up the old kind. I trust that Burt's had good reasons for switching up the formula so much, and I really don't see what the outrage is all about!!!

Why new formula? May 02, 2012

I really am disappointed with the new formula. The old one worked perfectly and left my straight, thin hair full of volume and healthy. This new stuff doesn't work at all. I'm almost in tears because I miss my old shampoo so much! Bring it back!

New Formula disappoints May 02, 2012

My hair is thin and fine. The old formula worked pretty well at giving it some volume. The new formula won't rinse out and leaves my hear limp. I am in the market for a new shampoo. Is there any plan to bring back the new formula?

New formula is awful April 21, 2012

I used the old product and it worked perfectly and I have no idea why Burt's Bees changed the formula. I always had trouble with other shampoos because they would leave my hair oily and greasy. I found Burt's Bees (the old product) and it worked great. My hair looked clean and never looked greasy. Now this new product leaves most of my hair looking like I never even washed my hair.
