Take it back September 04, 2012
I bought this at a local drug store and am so disappointed! I used the older version of this shampoo for years with great results, but after using the new and improved version a few times, there is no way I will ever use it again. My hair is more on the oily side, and even with not washing it every day, this shampoo still left it so oily that I looked like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks! And that was the same day I washed it. It weight my hair down and made it look like I had swam through an oil slick. I wish I could take this back, but since I used it I'm stuck...what a waste of $.

New Formula FAIL September 02, 2012
The new formula of this shampoo is a sad disappointment. Leaves hair greasy and fails to volumize as well as the previous formula. I only recommend this product for use in a guest bathroom. You know, leave a bottle of a "top shelf" brand of shampoo that turns out to perform as well as a "bottom shelf" brand. Kinda makes my guests feel like they are staying at a hotel.

Refreshingly Unique Shampoo August 29, 2012
I am a cosmetologist, and do not understand the negative reviews this shampoo has received. It is wonderful, and I hope they keep making this forever. The smell is like a spa candy treat- leaving an incredibly sexy scent in your hair. The lack of harsh sulfates in the ingredients pamper your hair and will NOT strip the hair cuticle of it's precious moisture. The ph is showing up at approx. a 5.5 on my litmus test, which is lovely. The BEST shampoo's need to be this acidic, that way they close the hair cuticle, encouraging bounce, shine, and health. Both myself and my teenage daughter adore this shampoo. She has blonde, fine, curly hair that easily frizzes. I have auburn, wavy, and very course hair that tends to go flat. Both of us are more than pleased with this volumizing shampoo. It caused her hair to retain the moisture it needed to define the curls, as well as adding volume. For a conditioner, she pumps Rainbow detangling conditioner for kids in and leaves it to dry afterwards. For me, it didn't "squeak" in the shower (so I knew it wasn't stripping my hair), and gave body all over after drying (went to bed with wet head, woke up volumous). I have yet to try BB's conditioner, so a review on that is forthcoming. Remember to shake the shampoo bottle good before dispensing, and think of it as a serum when applying. Don't expect suds, as that is the result of harsh sulfates. I give this Pomegranate shampoo 5 stars - I think the company did an awesome job re-formulating this. Oh- and can I say a major applause to the company for NOT using sodium benzoate as a preservative, like so many others do. (Yuck! this forms a carcinogen when paired with fruits or vitamin c). It's been a long time since I could completely read thru an entire list of shampoo ingredients and agree with every one. Burts Bees accomplished a winner, hands down.

THE WORST !!!!!!! August 17, 2012
I thought you changed the bottle same price for less product. I didn't think anything until I was using it. WOW it was BAD. I tried to give it a chance... but even after a few tires, UGH!! I was on the hunt for the old bottles. I wont use the new and improved. I will be looking for a new product again. The old shampoo was wonderful, Hate that you changed it.

Wet hair completely.  Massage into scalp and hair, working into a full, rich lather.  Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.  For best results, follow with Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Conditioner. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
