The first few days are absolutely amazing! The eucalyptus is perfect! But then it gets gritty and mushes all over your lips. This would be my favorite out of all of the lip balms if this didn't happen!

Gritty: Not as good as the clove oil March 19, 2013
The Medicated Clove Oil was starting to become hard to find, and I just can't stand petroleum jelly based lip balms so I stuck with Burt's Bees. I tried Acai Berry, Honey, and now this Eucalyptus one; it's by far the worst. The lasting effect on your lips is adequate and almost comparable to the Clove Oil, but a little more intense and uncomfortable. The worst part of this lip balm is that it gets gritty and unpleasant, I'd used it for a day and thought that it was an okay alternative, but a little overboard on the cooling sensation, but the following day it turned to a grainy sand texture and also a soft feel to it, similar to a petroleum jelly based lip balm. After becoming grainy this product was the worst lip balm I've ever used, I promptly threw it out and began searching for alternative sources of the clove oil balm off of the internet, only to find it has been discontinued. I'm currently searching for a different medicated product, at least until clove oil makes a return.

This one is OK, but please bring back the clove! March 18, 2013
I agree with the other reviews ... this one is very grainy. You had me hooked on the Medicated Lip Balm with Clove Oil. Why did you discontinue it? You should never discontinue a good thing.

Love This Stuff! March 05, 2013
I have always dealt with chapped lips and fell in love with Burt's Bees. I bought this on a whim, thinking that it might be better than regular Burt's Bees. I am very pleased to say that I was correct! I have not had to deal with chapped lips at all since I purchased it. The product is a little grainy, but I agree with a previous reviewer that it is probably meant to help exfoliate your lips to get rid of the dry, chapped skin. I have recommended it to all of my friends and will continue to do so. Please don't discontinue this line!
