The scent and taste is too overpowering for me. I prefer the beeswax lip balm.

I like the beeswax balm better because this has a tendency to get greasy. The taste is good though since I LOVE honey.

Grainy Texture? August 29, 2009
I think this was my first Burt's Bee purchase and I was deciding which balm I wanted so I got this one due to the honey factor. Open it up and did notice a bumpy texture which makes me curious as the image preview on this site shows me something different from what I purchased? Change of formula I guess? Anyways, I tried it and well, I wasn't impressed. It didn't feel smooth on my lips and I do feel its a bit greasy as well. I love Burt's Bees but this one doesn't do it.

Not only is the ingredient list appealing, but I can feel the balm nourishing my lips. The lip balm is very thick when it goes on. Not in a Vaseline kind of way, but you can feel the beeswax really smooth and coat your lips. (It'll give them a nice shine too). It stays on longer than any other lip balm I've used and will leave your lips soft. (Also, the the lip balm will last a long time in the tube as well). It also has a light honey smell. This is also one of the very few lip products that don't leave with that nasty white coating (you know what I'm talking about) on my lips after leaving it on for a while. *It is a bit pricey though!
