Nothing on applicator-- cannot apply lip gloss :( May 11, 2013
Bought this lipgloss (color-- Nearly Dusk) because it was an alternative to the Bare Minerals gloss and at half the price. I was disappointed to find that when I pulled the wand out, almost no product was on it. I tried several times to apply the lip gloss but with nothing on the wand when I removed it from the bottle, I was unable to use this. The bottle looks full and there is resistance when you put the wand in the bottle, but when I go to remove it, its pretty dry and there's barely anything on there and I cannot apply it to my lips. Very disappointed and will attempt to return it to ULTA because i'd rather drop a few bucks more and get the Bare Minerals gloss. Don't get me wrong, the color is stunning-- but when I can't get any of it to be on the applicator when I open it, I can't use it.

Wonderful except for the tube... April 29, 2013
I've bought several of these in different colors and they're all very nice. My only complaint is the tube seems too tight at the top, and it wrings all of the lip gloss off before you pull the brish out of the tube. It's interesting that I read a review that's the opposite of this on here too. But other than that, it's wonderful.

I really like most Burt's Bees lip things I try, but I LOVE this. I got Ocean Sunrise first, thinking it would go well with my coloring. And I was more right than I thought. It actually is almost the exact same shade as my lips. But it's got a little bit of a sparkle, so it's not like there's no point to wearing it. It doesn't smell as good as some lip glosses by Burt's Bees, it actually doesn't really smell like much at all. But that's better than smelling bad. It's not as shiny as the squeeze tube lip glosses, and is less opaque than the lip shimmers. I like both those products, but this is like a happy medium. It's the kind of thing you can carry around and put on without a mirror and not worry about it not being even. I love the consistency, the color, the sparkle that's not too noticeable, and how it feels. I also got one more that I can't remember the name of. I like that too, although it doesn't match my lips as perfectly. I'm looking forward to getting some more. :)

I just purchased Starry Night today and couldn't wait to get home to try it on! I love the color, how well it stays and the fact that it doesn't taste bad.
