Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

Teeth All CLEAN! Breath FRESH! April 23, 2010

I have used many different kinds of toothpaste over the years. I tried the sample tube BB sent with another order, brushed once, and immediately ordered the full size tube! This product makes your teeth feel dentist office clean, breath fresh and clear and no "toxic mint" feeling left in your mouth, just CLEAN! Wish I could buy the sample size so I could take it along on my travels.

Great Paste April 23, 2010

Love this toothpaste. This is the first toothpaste that I've used where I feel like I just came from the dentist with clean and polished teeth. I feel it every time I use it. I highly suggest it, and the taste is great. It's not at all overpowering like some other toothpastes out there.

Great Toothpaste April 18, 2010

I received a sample of this toothpaste and fell in love with it. It is not available in stores in my area so I purchased it online. This toothpaste has no grit. It leaves a wonderful clean feeling in your mouth. The only thing that is hard to get used to is, it is very thick. The sample had a thinner consistency and this is very thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube. It also has a very mild mint taste which is very nice. If you have a child who doesn't like regular toothpaste this is the one for you. We love it!

The paste left my mouth feeling clean. No overbearing flavor. Doesn't sting/burn mouth. Great for young brushers.
