Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

Good job, Burt! January 27, 2010
This is a good toothpaste and I see myself using it long-term. I'm a longtime fan of almost everything Burt's Bees, and this particular toothpaste is no exception. I *highly* recommend *this* toothpaste, Multicare with fluoride, over the Whitening with fluoride, which I will also be writing a review for. The Whitening with fluoride disappointed while the Multicare with fluoride did not. The one problem I have with the Multicare with fluoride and the reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is that it loses its consistency once you start brushing. Pretty quickly I might add. While the end result is fabulous and leaves my mouth feeling fresh, towards the end there I felt like I was brushing with water because of the lost of consistency. Overall, this toothpaste is fabulous. I hope to see it in my local stores soon so it's easier to pick up.

First Try and Love January 20, 2010
I just tried this toothpaste this morning for the first time and was a little skeptical. I have never used a natural toothpaste, but I was impressed! My teeth were left clean and my mouth was minty fresh! Plus, I did not have any chemicals in my mouth that I can not pronounce. Thanks Burt's for a great natural product! :)

Love this stuff! January 11, 2010
This toothpaste is a lovely surprise - it leaves my teeth feeling scrubbed clean, has a pleasant taste, and resolves bad breath. My whole family has enjoyed using it and we will definitely be purchasing this in the future. This is the first natural toothpaste we have tried and have been extremely pleased with the results.

Great New Product January 08, 2010
I was a bit skeptical when I saw that Burt’s Bees was coming out with toothpaste. Seriously though: I have sensitive teeth with receding gums and I recognize a difference over the past week. I will definitely buy again.
