Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

Awesome toothpaste September 18, 2011

I have a very hard time with traditional toothpastes, they make my tongue blister and the skin peel from the inside of my mouth. This toothpaste has never given me any problems. It tastes great and I would definately recommend it to anyone, even those who aren't into natural products.

Great toothpaste May 11, 2011

My mouth was totally blistered by using other toothpastes that contained chemicals. I recieved a free tube of Burt's Bee's toothpaste and gave it a try. My mouth cleared up and now I am a true believer in Burt's Bee's Natural Toothpaste! Who really needs chemicals in your toothpaste anyways! Thanks so much for coming out with such a great toothpaste!

Not my fave March 30, 2011

I got this in one of the grab bags I purchased a couple of months ago. The toothpaste is very thick. So thick in fact I had a hard time sqeezing it out of the tube. Instead I would untwist the cap in order to squeeze it out. I used it with my sonicare toothbrush, and I did not like it at all. Halfway through brushing the toothpaste was already reduced to a liquid inside my mouth.

Great toothpaste... bad packaging March 30, 2011

I love everything about this toothpaste EXCEPT the poor packaging! For that reason alone, I will not be buying this product again unless they come up with new packaging. I would say realistically about a quarter of the toothpaste was wasted due to the messy squeeze tube and the way it leaks out all over. What a mess!
