Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

Amazing Product! July 09, 2010

I love how it doesn't taste fake like most toothpastes and its okay to drink juice afterwards without getting that nasty taste in your mouth. This makes my teeth feel very clean. I love it!!! I ordered 2 toothpaste packages so now ill have this for a long time and ill have my friends try it. (:

Almost June 27, 2010

It tastes good, the texture is good, but it does not really lather and leaves a strange taste in your mouth for a few minutes. I did find myself brushing longer in the absence of lather so that's a pro, and it really did keep my breath fresh for a really long time. I would use this again.

Left a metallic taste in mouth June 24, 2010

This toothpaste is a great natural alternative with a light minty taste, however, after a few days of use i began to notice a metallic kind of taste in my mouth that i just couldn't get rid of until i switched back to my old toothpaste. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the burts toothpaste or not, but i haven't used it since.

Close, but not quite June 19, 2010

Natural toothpaste is a nice concept, but this one left a weird salty/bitter after-taste that I just couldn't get beyond. Good idea, but it didn't work for me.
