Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

LOVE it!! May never switch May 15, 2010

Saw this product in the store when I was there to buy another natural toothpaste. Love the other BB products I have, so I grabbed it and ran home to try it. Love the way my mouth feels: super-clean and fresh, even after a full night's sleep. It's a little thick but that's hardly an issue when compared to how clean my teeth are. Thanks BB for a natural, lightly flavored toothpaste I can feel good letting my family use!

Fantastic Toothpaste! May 02, 2010

I got this toothpaste in the .5 oz sample when I placed my first order. I have to hand it to Burt's Bees; this is a fantastic product! Even after a full day, my teeth still felt squeaky clean: no plaque build-up at all! This toothpaste, unlike the chemical-packed commercial brands, truly lives up to its claims. Also, I just thought to mention that I have also tried Tom's of Maine natural toothpaste before, but Burt's Bees has them beat, hands-down.

Best SLS free toothpaste out there April 26, 2010

I learned that some people could be allergic to SLS and that it could cause a variety of mouth problems. I had a spot on the roof of my mouth that was itchy and red and my dentist said it was from allergies. I tried different toothpastes that were SLS free, but they didn't freshen my breath and I didn't feel they got my teeth that clean. Although, Burt's Bees toothpaste is hard to find in stores I didn't mind ordering it online as it is now my new toothpaste and will not use anything else ever. It got rid of that itchy red spot on the roof of my mouth and I don't have trouble with my mouth anymore. Thanks Burt''s Bees for making such wonderful products.
