Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

Like Brushing with Oatmeal August 20, 2010

I do like this toothpaste. It tastes very good (but strong--it's a bit of a shock at first!), and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. I love that I have the option to purchase it with fluoride but no whitening agents. My only complaints are the texture--it's so thick, it can be hard to get out of the tube and is a bit like brushing my teeth with super-thick oatmeal--and the fact that there is no sensitive formula available. If Burt's ever releases a sensitive formula toothpaste, it will earn 5 stars from me!!

Finally Foamy July 28, 2010

I found out eight years ago that I am allergic to SLS in toothpaste and that was what was causing me to develop multiple painful canker sores. In the past I had only found one SLS Free toothpaste which I had used until a month ago. The previous toothpaste took care of the canker sores, but the taste, lack of foam and expensive price tag were disappointing. I found Burt's Bees Toothpaste and was excited to see that it was SLS Free and with a very reasonable price tag I couldn't wait to try it. I wanted to shout from the rooftops the first time I tried it, the foam is back! This toothpaste is minty fresh, foamy and keeps the canker sores at bay. Its an amazing product and I couldn't be happier. My mouth thanks you Burt's Bees!

FRESHEST MOUTH EVER July 15, 2010

NOT THE BEST FLAVOR, BUT IT DOES A GREAT JOB CLEANING, WHITENING AND GIVES YOU FREST BREATH THAT LASTS! LOVE THE LIP BALM VERY MUCH, IT'S NOT WAXY- IT'S MOIST AND PERFECT.

Finally July 15, 2010

A toothpaste that actually cleans your teeth. I am very sensitive to chemicals and herbs. Burts Bees is the only line of products were I can use a product for a extended period of time. Normally I have to change products due to my body developing a reaction to them.
