Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Can I still purchase remaining toothpastes? And where?

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

perfect for me with allergies March 20, 2013

I have an allergy to sodium laural sulfate which is the foaming agent in all the commercially available toothpastes. I used to get those painful little ulcers on my tongue, gums and cheek fairly often. I finally found this at my local Meijer store last year and have been buying it ever since. No more ulcers!!! I've since found out Meijer is not carrying it anymore, so looked for a new retailer. I'm going to try the local WalMart. Be advised this is across town from me - so I like Burt's Bees toothpaste that much that I'm, willing to drive about 40 minutes to buy the product!

Very Satisfying July 26, 2012

I have an allergy to blue and red coloring, so I have to use white natural tooth paste and I like this one. It felt very clean, and my breath stayed fresh pretty long.

Great Toothpaste, BAD Container December 15, 2011

The toothpaste is great, but the snap-off cover is very difficult to open. Luckily the cap can twist off or I would have thrown the entire product away. The problem with twisting the cap off is that it leaves a sticky mess all over the top of the toothpaste container. Disappointing! This fluoride free product is very difficult to find in local stores.
