Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

I gave this a 2-week best effort trial and could never get over the fact that the tube I used was the consistency of tile caulking. It took both hands to squeeze it out of the tube and water rolled right off it just like the caulking on my shower stall. The toothpaste remained semi-solid even in my mouth. Yuk. If this product was softer and mixed more easily with water it would be fine. I finally trashed my tube. Sorry, but this product just didn't work for me.

Wow January 22, 2011

I switched to this toothpast after learning I have a flouride allergy and have been pleased ever since. It's a little hard to get out of the tube but worth the struggle. My teeth are now whiter than they were with Crest whitening and they don't get the "fuzzy" feeling during the day. The taste is great too!

Great Squeaky Clean Feeling December 17, 2010

since there are no sulfites/fates, there isn't much lather, but man, while i'm brushing, my teeth actually squeak! i feel it works great and has a nice refreshing mint after-brushing taste/feel
