Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

Good Toothpaste November 27, 2010

I bought this because it was natural and did not contain harmful fluoride. I am very pleased with this toothpaste it has a minty taste that isn't overpowering, the texture is thicker than your regular toothpastes because it has the natural gum bases ( i didn't mind it at all though) and it left my teeth feeling squeaky clean. My old toothpaste always left such a strong taste and residue after I brushed, but this is wonderful my teeth feel so clean and they have actually gotten whiter since I began using it. Like others have said it is a bit hard to squeeze from the tube, but that shouldn't stop you from purchasing it in my opinion.

Love this toothpaste! August 23, 2010

At first I was a little skeptical of using a "natural" toothpaste...but this has definitely changed my mind! It leaves my teeth feeling super clean...I actually look forward to brushing my teeth now! Definitely planning on buying this again.

Best Toothpaste for Whitening! July 22, 2010

I have ditched any other whitening product for this toothpaste! it's an easy way to achieve that great smile by just brushing your teeth. It also makes my teeth feel nice and squeaky clean. But I do wish it had a better effect on coffee, and garlic breath.
