Why are the toothpastes being discontinued?

We are discontinuing our line of toothpastes based on a combination of ingredient supply challenges and limited consumer demand. This choice hasn’t been easy for us, as we know many people have come to rely on this product.

Yes, you can still purchase the toothpastes in the Burt’s Bees online outlet or at your local Whole Foods Market while supplies last. We expect the supply of our line of toothpastes to dwindle over the next 2-3 months.

Will there be a new line of Toothpastes launched?

At this time, we are not planning on reformulating our line of toothpastes or introducing any new dental care products.

great toothpaste -- cleans & tastes great June 26, 2010

I love the way this toothpaste tastes and how well it cleans my teeth. However, I think the packaging needs to be redesigned. If you don't close the lid tightly (it snaps shut), toothpaste will leak and make a puddle all over the counter. Other than that minor problem, I would give the product 5 stars.

Best toothpaste I have used! June 10, 2010

When I saw an ad in a magazine for Burt's Bees toothpaste I went to about 5 stores trying to find it. I do not like mint flavor in other toothpaste but this is so mild and the cranberry is great. It is not too sweet like other toothpaste either. The lack of foam was something to get used to but there is no residue left behind because of it. My mouth fells clean and refreshed and my teeth are white and feel healthier since using this product. My only con is the tube. It is difficult to squeeze the toothpaste out of it and if left upside down it runs into the cap.

my teeth feel so clean after using this toothpaste, like I was at the dentist's. They look whiter. And I love that there is no SLS and no flouride -- really hard to find toothpaste without those.

LOVE IT! April 20, 2010

This stuff is awesome! Great flavor, my teeth feel so smooth and clean after brushing. And I get a workout squeezing it onto my toothbrush, LOL. It's thick, but it's worth the extra effort!
