Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shampoo! I purchased this because I wanted a natural shampoo. It feels really clean and smells great. It doesn't make my hair as soft as some other shampoos do, but it still suds well, feels really clean, and leaves my hair manageable and with more volume. September 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Treat for Your Hair I really enjoy using this shampoo & treat it as a special occasion for my hair. The scent is fresh & my hair feels light weight & really clean when I finish washing. Recommend for those pomegranate fanatics like me. :) September 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Volume and Shine I have thinning hair also now colored so dry on the ends. The shampoo smells very nice and light, it cleans out any products you have in your hair and in the case of the hard water in my house, actually made my hair shiny again. . It is the only gentle shampoo that actually strips down my hair like this, usually I have to use filtered water to rinse my hair, not with this. September 9, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by So Far, Not So Good Recently, I've been worried about all the chemicals found in standard shampoos. I've heard that the sulfates and silicones in these shampoos were stripping my hair of its natural oil, which was in turn making it produce even more, which was then making me think I needed to wash my hair every day. I finally grew fed up, and wanted to try a more natural approach for my thick, fine hair. Of course, I turned to Burt's Bees immediately, because I already use their lip balm and facial cleansing products. I was certain my hair would feel like silk and would bounce around without all the extra gunk to weigh it down. It has been about a week, and I'm not sold. My hair feels greasy, heavy, and just overall full of build up. I've also noticed more stray strands than usual. Now, I've also heard that when your hair is deprived of the sulfates it is accustomed to, it takes a second to adjust to being treated nicely(AKA not stripping the oils from it daily). So, I'm going to rough it out for another week, and hope things change for the better. Otherwise, I do not recommend this product unless you have a week or two to deal with greasy, lame hair. Wet hair completely. Massage into scalp and hair, working into a full, rich lather. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary. For best results, follow with Burt's Bees Very Volumizing Conditioner. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
