Sensitive Eye Cream 4.1 5 14 14
Not for Me After being so impressed with the day moisturizer and the cleanser from this line, I decided to go ahead and give the eye cream a try. I've tried a few kinds before, so I had certain expectations. First, I like the idea. Also, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all and feels fine when applying. Second, I won't be repurchasing this particular product. The packaging is such that if you haven't used the cream for more than... what, a week? Maybe less, the product right at the mouth of the applicator can dry up and basically clog the tube. If you exert enough pressure to remove the clog, there goes about half of the product that had previously been waiting patiently within the tube. I tried to wedge it out a bit, but I wasn't comfortable with messing with the tip - I wanted to keep it as free from contaminants as possible, so in the end (and silly of me, I suppose) I just went with trying to get it out the "normal" way. So I've wasted a bunch of product, which is sad, but there's a good bit left in the tube considering how much you need for each application and it's affordable so... alright. Finally, though, it just doesn't moisturize for me. It goes on alright, but as it dries, it doesn't exactly absorb into my skin. It leaves a layer of something behind that kind of feels like I've got a very thin layer of dried clay on my skin. I can see it when I look at myself in the mirror, a vague white film. So it doesn't absorb completely, it leaves a layer of something behind, and the layer feels kind of tight and dry. I'd say this might work better for people with more oily skin, to counteract whatever it is that's leaving that layer behind. April 26, 2012
Lovely eye cream This is a good eye cream :) Does what it is meant to do. I especially like how the cream immediately sinks into the skin. It is very gentle! No burning, itching, irritation, tightness, etc. Quite lovely! OH, the only horrible thing about it is the tube it comes in!!! I had difficulty getting the cream out of the tube the first time I used it. Of course about one fifth of the product came shooting out. Just be careful and patient at first use. :) April 14, 2012
Did what I expected This was my first eyecream, and it did everything it said it was going to do, and I loved the results! So did my friend, who is now going to try to get her paws on some of the stuff for herself now too. I had one major problem with it- the container. As I was squirting out a sample for my friend to try, none was coming out. Frustrated, I squeezed harder, and squeezed out half the tube!!! I had to rub the excess into my arms, and I have absolutely no idea how much eyecream was left in the tube. Be careful when getting to this awesome stuff, it requires about a minute of constant moderate pressure to get what you need. Don't EVER increase the pressure. Ever. March 19, 2012
