Citrus Facial Scrub
Smells like PRUNES
This Citrus Facial Scrub looks and smells more like prunes with a VERY mild hint of citrus. For my oily skin type, I exfoliate twice a week. It does the job and keeps my face soft and smooth like a baby's bottom.

Nice little scrub but doesn't get the job done
A good defoliator is an essential part of my skincare routine. I was running out of my Neal's Yard Orange Blossom Scrub, which I LOVE, and thought I would try a Burt's Bees scrub since they are cheaper and easier to get in the US. I first tried the orange citrus scrub, which I found to be too fine and soft, it really didn't get those dead skin cells off my face. So I tried the peach and willow bark scrub next and found that the exfoliating bits were very big and rough - I was afraid they would scratch my face - and very sparse in comparison to the amount of cream so really didn't scrub my whole face or exfoliate at all. Very disappointed and still on the hunt.

Best Facial Scrub Around
I have large pores and have always searched for a facial scrub that would keep my pores clean without drying out my face. The Citrus Facial Scrub is the product that accomplished all. I've been using it for years and I'm hoping that Burt's Bees is not taking it off the market because I've noticed they've been out of stock for quite some time now. It is truly the best facial scrub I've ever used!

Best Scrub Ever - Seriously ...
I read a lot of reviews on this product before giving it a try - however I glad I did. Some said the texture was hard to work with and the smell was weird.
But what I found was that if you wet the palm of your hand, dig a finger into the jar and scoop some out and then work into the palm of your hand it makes a good paste to rub all over your face. I normally only use a dime size or little bigger to get the job done. And let me tell you - after one wash you will see a different in those stubborn pores!
I use it once a week and the smell to me smells like pumpkin spice so it doesn't bother me nor does it stay on your skin. I do follow the scrub though with a rosewater toner to help get off any missed residue from washing off the scrub. Also make sure you use regular/cool temp water ladies - not hot! I have oily/combo skin with sensitivity and this does not irritate my skin nor add oil or over dry to cause the oil to come back.
