Nothing but this could stop the itching I was bitten by a house spider. The bite spread and ended up covering much of my upper arm and it was maddening how much it itched. Any scratching helped spread it. I tried everything from Benedryl topic spray to Domeboro soaks. I even wrapped it in gauze and ace bandage to try and help and keep me from scratching. I went into Whole Foods, saw this and, since I trust Burt's Bees, went ahead and tried it. Not a single problem since. I can feel when it is beginning to wear off and then simply reapply. Smells great too! July 27, 2013
AH-MAZING! I get bitten by mosquitoes a lot. If there is one mosquito and a hundred people, it will find me. That said, I've tried everything from calamine lotion to those Benadryl itch relief sticks ... nothing works like this stuff! It's amazing how quickly my bug bites stop itching. Even the swelling (and I get ridiculous swelling) goes down! I especially love being able to safely use it on my toddler without worrying about what sort of weird chemicals there might be in it. We're all huge fans of this specific product from Burt's Bees! July 6, 2013
Must have!! As someone who lives in a mosquito-ridden city, I am dependent on bug repellant and bug bite relief. This product is the ONLY ONE that actually removes the itch and helps the bite heal faster. Additionally, I can use it on my kids!! Oh how wonderful it is to have a product that's safe for my kids. Not Great, go for Res Q Ointment instead I purchased this because I couldn't find the Res Q Ointment recently and thought this might be the replacement. Not nearly as good. It is a hard stick and certainly nothing I want to be rubbing on an irritated mosquito bite. Opt for the Res Q Ointment instead if you can find it. Works every bit as good and is soft and creamy to put on. September 4, 2012
