Must have!! As someone who lives in a mosquito-ridden city, I am dependent on bug repellant and bug bite relief. This product is the ONLY ONE that actually removes the itch and helps the bite heal faster. Additionally, I can use it on my kids!! Oh how wonderful it is to have a product that's safe for my kids. Not Great, go for Res Q Ointment instead I purchased this because I couldn't find the Res Q Ointment recently and thought this might be the replacement. Not nearly as good. It is a hard stick and certainly nothing I want to be rubbing on an irritated mosquito bite. Opt for the Res Q Ointment instead if you can find it. Works every bit as good and is soft and creamy to put on. September 4, 2012
Midnight Garden in Minnesota Maybe its the Merlot talking, but today I received the Bug Bite Relief and already in Minnesota I had to use it after watering my garden at midnight. In Minnesota, we have a lot of mosquitoes, so much so, that when I grew up here, many declared the Mosquito as our official state bird, with some being equated to the size of an aircraft carrier. My mistake was not ordering the repellent, but I was smart enough to order the Bug Bite Relief. As I was eaten alive tonight, or you might refer to it as blood donations to our local mosquito colony, I surveyed the damage. Bites to the forehead and one big bit to the cheek. Ah, every woman's dream to walk around with welts on their face. Well, I put the Bug Bite Relief to the test. I was amazed,, not only did it reduce the swelling, my forehead looked remarkably smooth, the welt on my cheek went down and the redness faded within 30 minutes. Instead of looking like I should be in a horror show, I felt like I had something better than a botox injection. My advice to all of you Bert's Bees fans out there...this company is wonderful. The products are great and don't be foolish like I was, try and get the repellent with this product. I will definitely not only be buying more Bug Bite Relief, I will also pick up the repellent to give it a try in the Mosquito capital of the country...trust my, not even the mosquitoes of Louisiana are bigger than these blood suckers!! Maybe it's just me? I had high hopes for this product. I'm constantly trying to find an effective anti-itch product for bug bites. Bugs seems to be attracted to me, even if I'm covered in bug spray. This product does slightly soothe the itch, but not for long. I find myself scratching away less than an hour later. I feel like it needs some sort of cooling ingredient, maybe peppermint oil or something more like the muscle mend product. I feel like that would help soothe the itch longer. June 25, 2012
