Tinted Lip Balm 4.5 5 191 191
Great Color, Overpriced (But I'll pay!) I recently had to stop wearing mascara (it was causing allergic issues), and I was looking for a light, natural tinted lip balm to add a little interest, color and definition to my now bare face. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have one color so far (Hibiscus). The color is noticeable without appearing unnatural. It enhances your lip color without shimmer or creasing or heaviness. Hibiscus is a little more "orange-ish" than it appears on the tube, so I will probably try one of the pinks next. Texture is great. Complaints? The COST! I'll continue to buy it for now, but I will keep my eye out for a cheaper alternative. It seems pretty steep for a "fancy" chapstick. Also the giant packaging is misleading and unnecessary. Bring back Tiger Lily I love Burts Bees Lip Balm. It is my favorite product to use on my lips and I absolutely love how soft it makes them feel. However many colors do not complement my skin tone. I'm asian and have a yellowish color to it. Peachy colors look great and Tiger Lily is my favorite (only) shade. Please bring back Tiger Lily so that I may once again purchase more Burts Bees lovely products. Thank you. May 1, 2014
Bring back Tiger Lily. Otherwise, Perfect ! I love this balm...the texture, smell, taste (or lack thereof). But you got rid of my favorite color, Tiger Lily, and have a surfeit of other bad colors, so I can't imagine why you thought Tiger Lily was bad enough to get rid of it. How many pinks and purples can one line use? Bring back Tiger Lily please. I love your balm. It's really the only one I use, and I'm not using it for the color, so I can't really review the color aspect. I just love the consistency. But if I'm going to wear it, it obviously has to be in a color I like. April 27, 2014
