Very Disappointed August 16, 2012

I have been using the "Original" formula for a couple of years now and have loved it. I ran out and picked up a bottle of the supposedly "New & Improved" formula and have been very disappointed ever since. There are several reasons why: it takes twice as much product to even get a slight bit of lather and cleaning going on; once I have rinsed for much longer than I should my hair has an oily, almost waxey feeling to it; and by the end of the day my hair feels like it needs to be washed again. It also doesn't have the yummy, fruity smell that the original had. PLEASE bring back the other formula!!!!! If not, I'm going to have to find a totally new shampoo to use.

I have used the original formula for a long time...went to purchase another bottle..bought one..didn't realize it was different until I used it...horrible results...flat hair...greasy...needed washing again that same day....why do companies "improve" on a product when it is working...this is NOT an improvement....would give my bottle away..but no one wants it...

I bought this product because I read reviews on how amazing it was, but didn't realize that i was reading reviews for the old formula. it definitely adds volume, and defines my waves (which a lot of shampoos fail to do because my hair strands are very thick). i would have loved it if it didn't leave my hair so greasy. my hair feels dirty and oily. this seems to be the general consensus from what i have been reading in reviews. please bring back old formula so i can have a chance to try it too! it sounds like it worked so well! for now i'll be going back to my old shampoo

Bring back the old formula!!!! July 17, 2012

I am SO incredibly disappointed with the new Volumizing version that I do not know what to do! Like others have commented, the new version has made my hair greasy, limp and it is ruining my summer. I have been searching in vain for stray bottles of the original, but after 4 stops today, I gave up. What ever possessed Burt's Bees to mess with a nice shampoo that made my hair shiny and easy to manage? I have been using this product for at least 5 years, please bring it back.

Wet hair completely. Massage into scalp and hair, working into a full, rich lather. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary. For best results, follow with Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Conditioner. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
