Terrible "new" formula April 16, 2012

The "new" formula is awful! It leaves a filmy feeling on my hair and I have to use twice as much conditioner just to be able to get the tangles out of my hair. My hair also has a clumpy greasy feel once it's dry and I don't use any products. Now I have to find another shampoo that doesn't cost a fortune b/c I won't be buying this anymore.

The new formula is a degeneration of Burt's Bees March 31, 2012

The new formula gives me itchy scalp with in the first day of use.when I went back to the old formula everything was fine.If Burt's Bees does not change back to the old formula, I will not be using Burt's Bees anymore. Sorry Burt's Bees

Good At First Later Leaves Sticky March 29, 2012

At first glance this products packaging is nice and easy to open in the shower but only contains 10oz. When you poor the product out its a bit watery and smells of thyme. which is not a pleasing scent at all in fact i dont wanna sniff my hair after using this. After rubbing it to create a lather it lathered alot and surprised me in a bad way. First wash it seemed to rinse out okay felt that dryness but was quickly quenched by the conditioner. After i dried it i felt a bit itchy on the back of my head , by my ears and my neck. I figured its a new thing to my body maybe its just gotta get used to it. The strands themselves felt a bit like i had put a light gel on them.It got oily though in about 3 days so i had to wash every 3 days and I've been using it for a month. I have to discontinue using this as it does not clean anymore , wont rinse out , and conditioner makes it more oily / sticky. The back of my head is sticky and wont brush through right without taking out a strand or two which i do not like because they do not have a bulb on them and haven't completed their cycle. Today i did a final test to be sure if it was the conditioner or the shampoo causing the issue. I washed my bangs/fringe that were oily but not sticky yet. I washed them only with this shampoo and no conditioner and they are now sticky flat and blow drying them will not even help. I ran my fingers through the sticky parts and they all smell like this thyme shampoo therefore this must be the culprit. Burt's Bees please listen to your customers bring back your old formulas and 12oz bottles.

New but NOT improved-- leaves gross film behind March 28, 2012

I am very disappointed with the new formula. I have fine, oily hair and the old formula did a great job getting my hair clean without making it too dry. Unfortunately, this formula leaves a heavy film behind, and despite multiple latherings, doesn't leave my hair feeling clean. Not sure why you had to mess with a good thing, but I won't be buying this new formula again.
