The only gloss I put on my lips June 23, 2010
I have been addicted to Burts Bees lip shimmer for several years now and it is the only gloss I put on my lips. Specifically Papaya color, my favorite. As a red head and animal activists, Burts Bees fits me like a glove!

Rhubarb is the best shade ever! June 19, 2010
I have light skin, light blonde hair and dark brown eyes. My undertone is neutral and the Rhubard looks great on me. It is one of my most favorite shades to wear on my lips! I love the color I get from the shimmer, not too over-bearing and just the right amount of coloring to be pretty and noticable. I also love how soft and silky it makes my lips and I can wear it over other lip colors as well to add a nice shimmer and change the tone of my color a bit. You can't go wrong with this one!

I loved the coffee shade, why did you discontinue this particular shade. I love earth tone shades and coffee was perfect! I hope your planning on bringing it back.

Pair with BB lip balm & It feels great! June 15, 2010
I've been using BB lip shimmer since the first week it showed up on store shelves! If applied alone, the shimmer is gritty and leaves my lips feeling dry. That said, *the trick* is to use BB lip balm underneath the lip shimmer. I tried this and VOILA! the lip shimmer looks/feels fantastic. The color is noticeable without being overpowering in the least. While I wish I could just throw on the lip shimmer and go (I'm super low maintainance when it comes to cosmetics), I feel the extra step is worth it for the difference it makes in how my lips look/feel. This lip shimmer lasts well. On days when I care enough to seriously readjust my appearance during the workday, I'd say reapplying once in a 9a-5p workday (for a total of two applications) should be sufficient... if you're going out in the evening, maybe a third time. As an added bonus, Mr. TiaB loves the peppermint taste, given that many lip shimmer can taste like junk. Yum-- Kisses! ;-*) I was conflicted in rating this product, since it works so badly by itself but SO WELL when paired with the lip balm. (I decided to rate the shimmer on its own.)
