Weird texture March 23, 2012

It feels like the butters are separate from the oil because all I get it oil on my lips and grainy parts of the butter. It doesn't smell bad or good it has a very light scent. It isn't the worst lip balm but definitely not the best.

Disappointed with this lib balm March 03, 2012

I was excited about trying a new Burt's Bees product, but this one disappointed me. It was smooth to put on at first and has a nice smell, but didn't do a very good job keeping my lips feeling moisturized. Now after having the product for a few months it is so unpleasantly grainy that when I put it on my lips I have to wipe it straight off.

Not as great as expected February 22, 2012

I have mixed feelings about this lip balm. It works really well and smells so nice, but it after using it for a couple of days I realized that the balm is becoming grainy. I trimmed off a portion hoping that it was only a layer, but the balm was grainy from then on. I am not sure if I will purchase it again in hopes to get a "non-defective" one:((

worst purchase ever January 22, 2012

I'm a huge fan of Burt's Bees chapsticks, and this one looked cool, but when I got it, it just didn't work as good as the original. It literally is like putting butter on your lips. It's too thin like oil and rubs off quickly. Doesn't last 4 hrs, more like 10 min and have to keep reapplying it, depending on how much you rub your lips together or eat snacks. It's more expensive than the others, which is even worse. Not worth the extra investment. Stick with the original or other medicinal versions of burt's chapsticks and you'll keep being a fan, but not with this one. they should just stop producing this one. And i don't usually like to say anything negative, but it really doesn't last long enough at all. kinda feels like it spreads like oil outside the boundaries of your lips. it's like putting a liquid on. (i've also tried carmex and vasoline and nivea brands, but nothing's better than burts bees original so far. they can't seem to outbeat themselves)
