mosquitos stay away September 07, 2010
I live near a lagoon and mosquitos are viscious in the summer. I was getting eaten alive and simply avoided going out in the yard in the evening. I wanted an all natural solution and found it with this product. After applying product and hanging outside for a bit I actually saw the pests landing on my arm, hang out for a few seconds and fly off without digging in. Lasts for hours and can say while wearing it i received no bites. Only CON is that it is a fairly greasy/oily.

Sort of unhappy September 02, 2010
product was not like the 99% pure lemongrass repellent I bought last year, but I couldn't find it this year. So I ordered this instead. I will say it narrowed the amount of mosquitoes down... but did nothing compared to the other product with the yellow label.

Works very well, but somewhat high maitenance August 14, 2010
No doubt this product works, totally, smells great, I know because several people commented on it, unsolicited. The only down side is, for me, the application. The repellent comes in a spray bottle but doesn't spray. It streams out instead so be ready for it. I work outside quite often in the film community and have to move FAST. I'd hoped for a quick spray on but this takes some time and you will get your hands oily. When I'm out in the weeds I don't have time to sit down, take off my gloves, apply and wash up. I usually just spray pants and boots and move on. Also, the first time I used it and got my unexpected stream, it went straight on my shirt, the stain didn't come out in the wash until I washed it 3 times and used stain remover. Since then I find myself really watching it when I sit on any type cloth furniture for fear of staining it. If anyone has any tips on removing the stains, or information ie; do I have defective spray cans? ( 3) I'd really like to know. Big Burt's Fan... Larry / Nashville

So much better than traditional insect repellants July 28, 2010
Every summer, I hate having to put on traditional insect repellants that contain non-natural and bad-smelling chemicals. I know it can't be good to put that stuff on my skin, but what else are you going to do to fight off the mosquitos and black flies? Am thrilled to find this product that is natural/plant-based. I no longer worry about how much or how often I put it on, particularly on my kids.
