I attract mosquitoes, and never liked using a product that smelled like pesticides. I first purchased the bug repellant two years ago and only recently had to restock-a little goes a long way. I love the aroma of citronella, so the fragrance suits me. Most important, the product works! And my grand like it! If doing yard work, or any activity that prompts perspiration you will have to reapply. The bugs will stay away.

This is one of the best repellents I've ever used. I searched for it for years after having tried it more than five years ago. I finally just ordered it from the Burt's website. I'm super happy. It smells great, and works great!

After reading the reviews, I applied the repellent into my hands and rubbed it on my arms and legs. Granted, it is oily, but I use it when I'm working in the yard and know I'll have to wash-up anyway before leaving the house. The mosquitos (which are very thick this year) did not bite me. I was able to work outside all day with no bites. To me, it's worth being a little greasy versus covered in DEET.

a very good product and I highly recommend it. I spent the weekend at a festival near a small creek and a lake and a lot of standing water. A lot of folks got bit but the repellant worked very well for both me and my wife. I would suggest a smaller size to make it easier to get through airports (less than 3 oz).
