I shake the tube up, put a little on my fingers and spread it around my just shaved facial area. It goes on smoothly and smells pretty good. A little like lemon. It's not alcohol based so it's a little greasy but does dry up some in a couple minutes. Not as good as the Burt's Bees Bay Rum Aftershave but not bad nonetheless.

fast absorption tightening up face skin no allergic reactions The scent is a bit strong. Is it possible to have a weak or fragrance free version for choice?

My big biker boyfriend hates to shave, because he has really sensitive skin. He LOVES this product. I had given him a travel kit with this in it and he was shocked at how great it was. I've since kept him stocked up with this, so he'll shave, so I won't get whisker burn. ha ha

i love this company and hope they're around for a thousand years. this is my favorite BB product; it's skin food, absolutely. soothes after shaving, smells good, and when used on the whole freshly-bathed face, somehow makes it glow - really. it makes your skin look obviously healthier & younger; don't ask me how, but i'm married to this stuff. great product; thank you, burt's bees.
