New is not better September 05, 2010

Suddenly I can't find the original Milk and Honey in any of the 12 stores where I used to be able to get it. Then I saw this, and thinking you had just changed the container, I bought it. I don't like it. I don't like the smell and I hate the way it feels on my skin.... it leaves a sticky residue. Why ever did you put the same name on it? It is definitely not improved. Doesn't absorb well either.

Great product, but the scent is interesting September 02, 2010

Maybe I have a really sensitive nose, but when I opened this product and squeezed some into my hand, I was surprised at its scent. It was, to me, a lot less "milk and honey" and a lot more like ultra sweet candy with a hint of mint. In fact, it was exactly like those pastel-colored mint candy chips. Once I got past the smell, I slathered it on and everything was bliss. Within minutes the surprising scent had waned (it wasn't overwhelming to begin with) and I just felt ... moisturized. It isn't greasy, it soaked right in, and when I walked and my thighs rubbed against each other, it didn't create sweaty, summer lotion residue. I am loving everything about this except the scent, which is still nice, just - again - surprising. I can't wait to use it once it starts getting colder, because I could totally see putting it on right before getting dressed in tights and the tights going on smoothly. Way to go, Burt's Bees!

The new smell is offensive to me... reminds me of some bathroom cleaner.
