Returns and Exchanges

We hope you are satisfied with every Burt's Bees purchase you make. We believe strongly in our products and their quality. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it by mail for a full refund or exchange within 45 days of the date of purchase by following the instructions provided on the invoice. Products returned after 45 days of date of purchase may be exchanged for a product(s) of equal value; no refunds will be given. Please follow the steps below:


Returns for Purchases Made at a Retail Store

If you purchased the product from a retail store, please contact the store directly for their return policy. We recommend returning the product to the store (if possible) in order to avoid return shipping fees. However, if the store cannot accept your return, please click on the link below, and follow the instructions on the form to return the item(s) to the address listed on the form.

Returns and Exchanges for & gü Purchases

*Please Note: We do not give refunds or exchanges for or gü featured specials, outlet items, discontinued items, or items purchased through unauthorized resellers or online auctions. Prepackaged gifts and kits are assembled individually and may vary slightly.

Instructions for Returns: Please fill out the return merchandise form (enclosed in your original order) and place it inside the return package.

  We are sorry, but return shipping fees are non-refundable. 

  • Returns are processed within 7 to 10 business days of our receipt of the item.
  • If you are choosing to return an entire order and received a free gift, you must return the free gift in order to get a full refund or we will subtract the price of the free gift from your refund.
  • All exchanges will be shipped via standard FedEx ground shipping. You will be responsible for shipping costs. Processing and transit times for exchange packages are usually 7-10 business days from the time your exchange request is received at our location. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
  • An email will be sent to confirm the receipt and processing of your return request.


Damaged Items

When you receive your items, please inspect the package for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the box to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please contact us immediately at 1-800-849-7112 option 2, or email to: To investigate the problem, we’ll need your order number, email address, shipping address, and phone number. Please be sure to retain the shipping box, packing materials, and damaged items in case we need to provide them to the carrier as proof of damage during transit.
