Just Throw and Grow!
Seedles are rainbow bright balls of seed, compost, and clay. We’ve done the heavy lifting by designing Seedles to practically grow themselves. They add fun and vibrant colors to your neighborhood while benefiting local pollinators. All you have to do is throw them and grow them.
Seedles started as a sidewalk stroll between husband and wife team Ei Ei Khin and Christopher Burley. Some neighbors had drought tolerant landscaping, others a few fruit trees, and a good portion had a sad, underutilized strip of front-yard "grass." Seeing so many unused spaces among the houses in our neighborhood we imagined an opportunity for kids and adults to do something positive right where they lived. We wondered, what if every yard could become a feast for the eyes and a buffet for the bees? In April of 2014, our movement started blooming as a Kickstarter project and hasn't stopped growing since.
We’re Helping Bring Back the Bees
Our organization wouldn't be where it is today without the support of tens of thousands of fans around the U.S. They have helped us grow more than 100 million wildflowers for the bees through purchasing our most popular product - Wildflower Seedles. We look forward to fulfilling our mission to grow one billion wildflowers to bring back the bees and ensure a sustainable food system for our future.
