Rated 5 out of 5 by from love, Love, LOVE this lotion I have used this lotion several times in that past 10 years. I start the summer by going to the beach. Of course I use sunscreen and of course I overdo it. But I put this on every night and rarely peel and my skins looks wonderful. I use after my showers all summer long. By the end of the summer my skin looks better than is has in years. Then you cannot get it any more until next spring. I wish they made and sold this all year around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best skin product for sun burns! I've bought this product several times over the past few years. It is by far the best thing to use when you've had too much sun and need to calm the burn and red down. It does not leave a sticky film on your skin like most other aloe/sun burn products do. The main struggle with this product is finding it at regular stores! Target no longer carries it as well as most other major retailers. Huge frustration when you are traveling and after spending a day outside, realize you need some and you need it fast! Wish it was more readily available, but it won't stop me from stocking up when I do find it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for FAIR or SUNBURNT skin I am super pale and use this every time I lay out in the sun. My skin always feels so refreshed afterwards. If I burn, I use this twice and day, and don't peel. Actually, if I forget to use it, I will notice pealing starting, so it's important to continue to use it because it works!! The smell is also fantastic, I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Burn Reliever! I bought the Aloe and Linden Flower After Sun Soother after I spent the day at the beach with my mom. I have light Irish skin and my burns can get really bad. I got sun screen that worked really well, except on the spots that I missed. I got one of the worst burns I've had in years and it felt like I had large bruises on the tops of my legs. I used a small amount of the After Sun Soother on my burns, and the next morning my burns had literally decreased by at least 50%. They went from cooked lobster red, to a dark pink and they don't hurt nearly as much. Totally worth the $10, and I keep it in my purse now. Thank you Burt's Bees!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skin soothing life saver I recently had an allergic reaction to something unknown. For a week, my skin itched so bad I would scratch and rub until I had deep bruises. Finally I thought to try the After Sun Soother (after trying every other lotion, ointment, and cream I own). It was like a miracle - it would calm the itching and start moisturizing my tortured skin. Now that I've been able to treat the reaction, I'm using the Soother still, as I have lots of irritations to heal. I bought it for sunny days, but am super thankful I had it on hand!

Will this lotion help a face heal from 2nd degree burns?

Asked by: Lainie
No! If you have 2nd degree burns, you will have blisters. Once those blisters pop, you will have raw, oozing skin. You should avoid putting any products on that skin, and see a doctor, as it will have a very high chance of getting infected- he may prescribe something like Silvadene to put on it.
