Rated 3 out of 5 by from Contains Alcohol First off, let me say that I absolutely adore Burt’s Bees. They have a ton of great products, but this one was a miss for me. I got this rosewater toner because I have dry, dehydrated skin and rose water is supposed to be hydrating. Sadly, after I bought this product I noticed that in the ingredients list it said alcohol was used. I think that using alcohol in a rosewater toner is a little backwards because alcohol is no good for dry skin. I think if you want a toner and you don’t have dry skin that this would be great because it does have a lovely smell and leaves your skin feeling really lovely, but the alcohol just dried my skin out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from REFRESHING I have never used toners, but after reading about how toners help restore the skins natural pH after cleansing, so that moisturizers are more effective, I thought I would give it a try. At the time, I was also having trouble with sensitive skin, and dry skin. I am 46 years old, and my skin is changing. I chose Burt's Bee's toner because it is so natural, with sensitive skin it just made sense. Well, it changed my skin. It felt so nourishing and healing, instantly. It actually felt like a relief for my skin. I have been using it for about 2 months now. I use it morning and night, after cleansing with Burt's Bee's Cleansing oil. It has a nice light scent, and it gives a rejuvenating tingle to the skin. I look forward to using it every day. Love it!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has Alcohol My skin type: very sensitive and extremely dry I wanted a natural product that lacked harsh chemicals for my sensitive and dry skin. Upon opening the bottle, I immediately noticed the smell of alcohol over the smell of roses. The alcohol dries out my skin, which seems to counteract what the roses are supposed to do. This product does make me feel refreshed, but soon after, my skin will feel tight and dry. For those of you with dry skin, I wouldn't recommend this product. For those of you who aren't worried about your skin drying out, go ahead and try this out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing results I have been going to the dermatologist for over 2 years for breakouts around my mouth and chin. Nothing I was prescribed truly worked and it was very hard on my skin. Last month I decided to try this product and it is the best skincare product I have ever purchased. Within a week I noticed a significant improvement, and now over a month after using the product my face is smoother and softer than it has ever been. I rarely have breakouts and have even stopped wearing makeup except for special occasions. I can even use lotion on my face, something I would have never been able to do before without breakouting for the next week. The only downside is it is typically backordered so I try to stock up when I can. I haven’t been able to find it in stores except for Cracker Barrel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! I have been recently changing over to products that don't test on animals. I'm so glad something about this product called to me in the grocery aisle! It smells so wonderful, and I am NOT a floral person. I like more fruity scents, but the rose is not harsh, though it definitely is present in the experience. I will be sticking with this toner from now on! The only thing I wish was different is I wish it had the same packaging at the tomato toner bottle. I much prefer the aesthetic of that, but it won't interfere with my future purchase!

what exactly does rose water do for the skin?

I'm black and my skin is very prone to acne. I am on the older side of the teenager ages and the pores on my cheeks seem to be more open than the rest. I currently use Murad but I want to find something better. Please help.

Keep your face clean because dirt and oil can clog your pores and make them appear larger, exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells to prevent them from mixing dirt and oil which blocks pores, use noncomedogenic moisturizers to make sure your moisturizer won't clog your pores, use clay masks to create the appearance of smaller pores, and lastly don't wash your face more than twice a day.I personally recommend having a simplistic skin care routine to help prevent mistreating the skin.

I can't live without this toner, it's the only thing I've found that works for me! When will this be in stock again?

Rosewater Toner Question

I have always bought Burt's Bees Rosewater & Glycerin Toner, sensitive & Mature Skin 8 Fl Oz and can no longer find it locally. When I go online I see it described two ways 1) Burt's Bees Rosewater & Glycerin Toner, sensitive & Mature Skin 8 Fl Oz and 2) just plain Rosewater Toner. Are they the same thing? I have always bought the one that specifically states "sensative and mature skin" on the label?????

Same thing, I think they changed the bottle and labeling semi-recently, but I've bought one labeled just "rosewater toner" and it was the same product.
